A forty-year friendship and a bountiful collaboration will grace the Walt Disney Concert Hall as renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and conductor Gustavo Dudamel join composer and conductor extraordinaire John Williams for a fantastical and exciting evening dedicated to the work of Williams this spring. The trio, who have a long history of working together, will be performing alongside the prestigious Los Angeles Philharmonic and bring adored pieces from all your favorite John Williams scores. Williams, who has won five Oscars, six Emmy's, and seventy-six Grammy Awards, to name a few, has a career spanning seventy decades and has created some of the most memorable and instantly recognizable movie scores of all time. His work includes Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jaws, Jurassic Park, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, to name a few.

Yo-Yo Ma, a child prodigy cellist, is the recipient of nineteen Grammys, and whilst he is a powerhouse in classical music, his work spans far wider than you would ever expect. He's worked with artists including Miley Cyrus, and Carlos Santana, and recently appeared in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.

Gustavo Dudamel, a Venezuelan conductor, is currently the musical director of the LAP. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, has won multiple awards, and is a world-class violinist.
