Why see Engelbert Humperdinck?

Look Who's Live!

One of the world's most beloved performers, Engelbert Humperdinck has been wowing the crowds for over forty years. Don't miss the living legend live, as he performs some of his greatest hits from throughout the years. You know with the 'Humper' you're in for a very special evening!

Originally hailing from Wales, via India, Engelbert, once plain old Gerry Dorsey, cut his teeth on the nightclub scene playing saxophone in the early 1950s. After being egged on by pals to enter a karaoke competition when he was 17, Dorsey started to take his voice seriously and his name a little less, adopting his famous moniker in 1965. This change proved to be mercurial, and within three years he scored his first number one on both sides of the Atlantic with 'Release Me', even managing to keep the Beatles off the top spot in the UK!

Since then, the Humper has gone on to be known as the consummate showman, lending his wonderful voice to many styles and genres, excelling at ballads.

JACQUELINE Ireland

Engelbert Bergen Center June 2024 Review

Enge is totally amazing , a true legend and the ultimate professional showman. After being open and honest with us by saying he wasn't feeling his best and apologizing, he went on to give us a performance that was a treasure, a gift. We could have not wanted more from him. The emotions. The comedy. The man poured every bit he could into his songs. The old ones we love and the new ones that keep him so fresh and current. At 88 years old he can fool us all because it is very hard to see him as 88. As he states as long as his body stays strong he will continue to perform. The Last Waltz Tour...but the lady waltz will last forever. He has concerts scheduled all over the world. I tire just reading his upcoming tours.ive been a fan for over 58 years. He is my therapy when I feel sad, sick, angry or confused. Bless this man for all he has given to millions. I I've him my upmost respect, admiration, compassion and love for always. ... Read more
