Why see Mughal E Azam?

A Tale Of Love, Tragedy, And Opulence!

A spectacular whirlwind experience, self-proclaimed as the "most expensive theater production from India", Mughal-e-Azam is not to be missed. The show won a staggering seven Broadway World India Awards including best play, best director, and more! Director Feroz Abbas Khan created the show as his own interpretation of the 1960 K. Asif Film of the same name.

What Is The Story?

Emperor Akbar, of the Mughals, wants a son more than anything. Overjoyed when Salim is born, the child is raised in luxury only befitting the son of an Emperor, and consequently becomes an entitled and ungrateful boy. Salim is sent to war to become a man and returns as if born anew. What follows is a classic tale of forbidden love, familial war, and the ensuing fallout.
