The musician has music in his blood, with his father being world renowned and critically acclaimed Iranian classical singer, Mohammad Reza Shajarian. Homayoun Shajarian has been praised for his dedication to learning the Persian hand drum, the Tombak and Persian traditional vocal. This training can be seen in even his most recent works, he has previously joined his father on his world tour, supporting him by playing the Tombak.
