Why See Peter Rabbit?
One show, three thrilling Peter Rabbit stories!
Hitting the nationwide garden path (!) during the 2016/17 season, Peter Rabbit and his furry friends will be coming to a stage near you! With 2016 marking the 150th anniversary of Beatrix Potter's mischievous creation, this very special tour is a wonderful way to introduce your little bunnies and ducklings to the joy of Potter's world. This production by Enchantment Theatre Company is one of only a very few that are specially licensed by the Potter estate, and combines movement, excellent costumery and music to create a charming show for youngsters. Grab the milk and blueberries for an exciting adventure, when the show bounds in Fred Kavli Theatre in Thousand Oaks, CA, Closed April 1, 2017
The stage show portrays live, the three main tales featuring our favorite blue-coated bunny; The Tale Of Peter Rabbit; The Tale Of Benjamin Rabbit and The Tale Of Mr Tod. Although Peter's first adventure in wicked Mr. McGregor' s garden is known to most children, his following exploits are less familiar. So in a very different style of story-telling, the show will tell the three stories out of linear order, as so to create a more exciting narrative that starts when Peter is an adult, and introduce kids to newer characters! Tommy Brock the mean badger, Mr Tod the sneaky fox, Squirrel Nutkin and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle all get their day in the sun!
Performance date: 1 April 2017
Suitable for ages 3+
