Inspiration to Explore

I felt like I was there, exploring Africa and our ancestry. Along side the Nat Geo explorers I was almost overcome with terror, claustrophobia, as they slid into a long narrow cave chimney, only to fall into the discovery of a new species of hominid! And I cheered with them at the human diversity--women anthropologists comprised almost the entire team of explorers willing to risk their lives to advance science digging in this cave. And afterwards, during the discussion, I was in awe of what the ancient hominid explorers must have felt as they first found and explored this deep cave chamber, with only a small flame to light the way. Hominids have always been explorers, scientists, to the very end! I hope my nieces and nephews get a chance to see this inspiring show. ... Read more
