Dana Carvey, Party on!

The award-winning comedian, star of Waynes World and Saturday Night Live alumni, Dana Carvey is guaranteed to have the audience in stitches at his stand-up shows. Known for characters like The Church Lady, Hans and, of course, Garth Algar, Carvey's big break came in 1986 when he joined the cast of SNL, performing alongside some of the biggest names in comedy today including Kevin Nealon, Dennis Miller and, later on, Mike Myers.

Although you may recognise him mainly from his iconic 90s film fame in Waynes World, Carvey had been developing Garth Algar's character since the late 1980s as part of a recurring SNL sketch. Though the film is one of 11 developed from a SNL sketch, it's the highest grossing.
