Canadian guitarist, producer and nuevo flamenco star Cook turns his lighting quick fingers to flamenco, rumba, jazz plus various other forms of world music into his work. A Juno Award winner, he has also received accolades from Acoustic Guitar magazine, and is a three-time winner of the Canadian Smooth Jazz award for Guitarist of the Year. To top that off, he has also sold more than 1.5 million worldwide, cementing himself as a global guitar superstar. Now for 2017 Cook is back with his brand new album Beyond Borders as he brings a new tour across North America.

Dark Star Orchestra

February 23, 2018

The Grateful Dead have been resurrected in the form of Dark Star Orchestra. Formed in 1997, this tribute band came up with the novel idea of recreating complete sets from The Grateful Dead's gigantic list of concerts. They adapt their playing and sound depending on what era of Dead they're tackling on the night, and while they slavishly recreate the sound of the band down to the minutest detail, the band often embark on epic improvisations that would make their heroes proud.

February 24, 2018

Be transported back to the funky 'fros, starched collars and floor-grazing bell-bottoms in the company of legendary Philly RnB group The Spinners. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominated outfit rode high in the 60s and 70s with hits like I'll Always Love You and It's A Shame, and have slowed no signs of slowing down with constant touring over the decades.

Singer songwriter Don McLean has more than his fair share of great songs to his name, but one stands head and shoulder above the others. Released in 1971, 'American Pie' remains one of the great tracks in popular music history.

There are ukulele players...and then there's Jake Shimabukuro. Declared a "hero" by Rolling Stone, the Hawaiian born musician has taken the humble instrument to new levels, blending bluegrass, flamenco and classical techniques in a lightening quick flurry of finger picking.
