Why see John Cleese & Eric Idle?

An absolute must-see for fans of British comedy and in particular, Monty Python! Two of Britain's best-loved comedians are coming Stateside for a tour of sit-down comedy, storytelling musical numbers, exclusive new sketches, and of course, a Q&A session where you can decide what they perform! That way, "Together Again At Last... For The Very First Time" will be a unique experience at each engagement! Not to mention the aquatic juggling - that alone would be worth seeing in our opinion! Eric and John will be hitting in , , .

two living legends of comedy

As two founding members of comedy troupe Monty Python Cleese and Idle are definitely the godfathers of surreal humor by helping to pioneer an irreverent, absurdist viewpoint that has provided inspiration to many a comic across the world. They have been busy individually too; between them they have written, performed and produced iconic shows and films such as Spamalot, A Fish Called Wanda, Fawlty Towers and of course, The Rutles.

Cleese is known to American audiences for his various cameos in television shows and films including Cheers, 3rd Rock from the Sun and a memorable few episodes of Will and Grace as Lyle Finster, Karen's much older lover. Keeping in with his fuddy-duddy image, he also appeared in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, playing the bemused and scatty father to Lucy Liu's character, Alex.

Idle has been anything but his name; despite not being in the spotlight as much as Cleese, he has been fervently working behind the scenes as a writer on Flying Circus, What About Dick and of course Spamalot, to name a few. He's most-well known as a comedy singer/songwriter, and despite his best (or worst) efforts, still manages to get award nominations, much to Cleese's chagrin (but not really).
