As one of the UK's premier singer-songwriters, Weller's career hasn't reacher the superstar status of many of his contemporaries, but remains a solid and recognized musician on a national level in his native Britain. With much of his songwriting rooted in British culture, he is particularly credited with reviving the mod movement in the 1970s and 80s, which has led to his nickname as The Modfather. Weller will be heading Stateside to his hardcore fans for a limited number of performances, hitting in , ,

The Jam, and Weller himself have been credited with influencing a number of bands during the mid-Nineties Brit-rock explosion, including the likes of Oasis, Ocean Colour Scene and Blur. His music is described as a mix of trad rock and alternative/indie, and has slowly mellowed since his departure from the Style Council.

From his tenure as the lead singer of The Jam to the sophisticated pop group The Style Council and finally as a solo artist, Paul has been producing classic music for over 30 years. Paul's biggest hits include Going Underground, Wild Wood, Changing Man and Peacock Suit.
