Classical music in an iconic setting

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra play a series of concerts in the beautiful surroundings of the Hollywood Bowl, with performances ranging from classics to contemporary works. The orchestra, which rivals any international full orchestra, is made up of string and brass sections as well as a pianist and percussionists. Gustavo Dudamel, the music director the orchestra, is world renown for his work with the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela and his inspiring passion for classical music and performance. He has been with the LA Phil as its Music Director for five seasons, and has served as the Music Director of the Simon Bolivar Symphony for an impressive 15 seasons.
