Los Angeles Philharmonic - Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back In Concert at Hollywood Bowl

Why see Los Angeles Philharmonic - Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back In Concert?

Dah Dah Dah Dum Da Daah Dum Da Daah

Return to the action-packed story of Luke Skywalker and his quest to defeat the evil Empire in screening of the second film in the beloved original Star Wars Trilogy. The Empire Strikes back may have received mixed reviews when it debuted in 1980, but it has become the most celebrated and commercially successful film of the canon. Experience John Williams' timeless score live, played by the LA Philharmonic as a live accompaniment to an HD screening at the Hollywood Bowl!

The film picks up where A New Hope Left Off, where the destruction of the Death Star thanks to the bravery of Luke Skywalker and the Rebel Alliance has stoked the flames of revenge. Empire leader Darth Vader is on the war path, hunting down Luke and his comrades Leia Organa and Han Solo amongst others. When Vader captures his friends, Luke must make the difficult decision between staying with Yoda and completing his Jedi training or confronting the Sith overlord to save his friends.
