Best Evanescence Concert Ever!

5/5

I have seen several Evanescence shows through the years, but this concert, Synthesis, was by far the best. The addition of electronic music with an orchestra gave old songs a fresh face and made new songs very powerful. The Paramount is one of the most beautiful venues anywhere!

Good but not great

I didn't come to see hailstorm but they were good. The beer being $13.50 was awful. The lines were long and by the time I got up there they ran out of food..I wanted bbq. I was mad. Evanescence was good. Her dress was kinds strange and Tenny 👞 shoes were kinda shocking. I love her singing but she didn't play hi lo which is an excellent song. There was no kinda things like some concerts, like fire or big bangs. But all and all it was a good concert, just not the best. But I still love Amy very talented.

My husband has been looking forward to seeing Evanescence for years, he left disappointed. Lindsey is great, but that is not who we paid to see. Lindsey was on stage about double the time Evanescence was. At (what we thought was a long costume change) mid point the piana was removed and Amy came out on stage in the same dress and sang a duet and than ended the show. It appeared a little confusing to the people on stage as well. My husband said she did not play a lot of her songs. On a scale from 1-10 with a Garth Brooks concert being a 10, this concert was a 2-3.

Not worth the time

Although Amy is very talented she sounded like she was screaming. I could inly understand a few words she was singing. The set list was strange and she made old songs sound off and some vacant of the true essence with the new arrangment. Fighting the horrible traffic and rain on top of this didn't leave me feeling good about spending the money on tickets, travel, food and lodging.

I wish I'd stayed home

Incredibly disappointing. The orchestra was very talented, but it doesn't suit the music at all. It took a lot of impact out of the songs. I respect Amy for trying something different, but I did not enjoy the concert. The setlist was full of odd choices and left out songs that myself and my friends were hoping to hear. We left early, along with many people in our section; something I have never done before at a concert.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

First time seeing them and was incredibly disappointed. While Lyndsey Sterling is talented, her set went on FAR too long...in fact she may have played longer than Evanesence did. Bring Me to Life sounded horrible...was missing a lot of it's KICK. Didn't play a lot of songs I was hoping to hear such as Hello and Going Under just to name two. Amy's voice is incredible but the show lacked any WOW factor. Many people left early. Abruptly ended the set with a goodnight, came back and played one song. I think they were on stage just shy of 1.5 hours. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
