Why See Conor Oberst?
The King Of Indie Is Back With A New Album
Perhaps best known as primary driving force and frontman of Bright Eyes, Conor Oberst rose from his old moniker's ashes in the early 2000s with a new direction and sense of purpose. Hailed by many as the "New Dylan', the prolific singer songwriter returns to the road in support of his latest album Ruminations, coming to Greek Theater in Los Angeles , CA , Closed May 13, 2017
Written during an unforgiving Omaha winter, Ruminations is a stripped back and direct record, making use of guitar, piano, harmonica and Oberst's poetic lyrics alone. This rawer style balances perfectly with his fragile, story-teller vocals which glide effortlessly over indie-folk landscapes that invoke heartbreak, yearning and politics.
