The West Coast premiere!
A thrilling new opera makes its West Coast premiere this coming season, by Keeril Makan and adapted from the Ingmar Bergman 1967 psychological thriller. First performed in October 2015, the production is directed by Jay Scheib with a cast that stars Amanda Crider and Lacey Dorn as the two central women. A groundbreaking work at the movie theater when first released, it also starred Hollywood starlet Ingrid Bergman, who was married to the director.
