The cast and creatives behind cult hit TV phenomenon Queen Sugar return to the Dolby Theatre stage for a second year running at the 35th Annual William S. Paley Television Festival AKA PaleyFest. Emmy award winning African American director Ava DuVernay and a host of the show's performers including Rutina Wesley and Dawn-Lyen Gardner will give fascinating insights into the show, as well as their favorite moments and highlights, in a live Q&A panel discussion.
Based on the novel by Natalie Baszile, the Oprah Winfrey-produced drama follows the fortunes of Nova, Charley and Ralph Bordelon, three siblings who move to the heart of Louisiana to claim their inheritance - an 800-acre sugarcane farm. A sweeping yet intimate portrait of complicated family ties and culture clash, the critically acclaimed saga has set its roots and is here to stay.
