Here's to You, Mrs Robinson

Cinespia presents a screening of one of the defining movies of the 1960s. Directed by Mike Nichols, and adapted from the novel by Charles Webb, The Graduate is a sly portrait of a changing America. Dustin Hoffman stars in his breakout role as Benjamin Braddock, a post-grad who has moved back home and is wrecked with angst about what his future holds. Caught in this existential funk, he begins an affair with his neighbor Mrs. Robinson (Anne Bancroft), but things quickly go awry when he falls for her daughter Elaine.

Featuring a pastel-hued Simon and Garfunkel soundtrack, and dozens of quotable lines ("Just one word. Plastics!"), The Graduate is the perfect movie for a lingering, sun-drenched LA evening.
