Dawes Poster

Dawes

April 1, 2017

Through a tapestry of warm vocals and sun-soaked guitar hooks, Dawes have made a name for themselves for replicating the feel of the Lauren Canyon sound of the 70's. But far from being a copy, the quartet are something retro inspired, but with a chilled vibe straight out of the present.

Led by Black Francis Pixies can lay claim to being the most important American band of the past 30 years. This year marked the release of Head Carrier which they're touring across North America and Canada with new touring bassist Paz Lenchantin, who joined in 2014. Promising a mix of both their old discography and new hits, Pixies fans will be in for a heady trip when they burst into town.

Jamey Johnson

April 27, 2017

One of modern country's most insightful and intelligent songwriters, Jamey Johnson takes risks that few others would dare, from releasing an epic double album (The Guitar Song) to a Hank Cochran tribute record.

The Zombies

April 29, 2017

One of the most successful rock acts to come out of England in the Sixties, The Zombies reunited in 2006 after a 30-year hiatus. Now for 2017 the surviving and current band members will embark on a mammoth spring tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary (you heard right, FIFTIETH!) of their masterpiece Odessey & Oracle, recorded in 1968. Join Colin Blunstone, Rod Argent, Chris White and Hugh Grundy as they perform the album to US audiences for the final time!

The Flaming Lips

May 9, 2017

Psychedelic provocateurs The Flaming Lips are no strangers to the weird and wonderful. With their astral soundscapes peppered with whimsy and humour to their Merry Prankster-esque on stage antics, the band have become a cult favourite since the release of their first studio album in the 1980s. Following a stint as Miley Cyrcus collaborators on her 2015 album Miley Cyrus & Her dead Petz, the band's return with latest record Oczy Mlody, which features the trippy and rather lovely 'The Castle'.
